Gently press the gauze, moistening the glue, and then use a damp cloth to wipe away the glue residue. It is important to avoid rubbing the moustache during this process.

To address this, you can soak the beard in a mixture of water and a small amount of glue cleaning fluid or alcohol for about 15 minutes.
